One developer. After hours.
Cyber Frequency Labs is one person: me.
I've made games on and off for about twelve years, mostly for mobile, with mixed success. Then life got in the way, and I stepped away from games for a few years.
For the past year the itch has been back. I started something like fifteen games, and none of them felt right. Then one night I thought about the late-80s arcade stadium racers I played every chance I got growing up: tiny trucks, huge jumps, and a crowd of kids (and the odd teenager) packed around one screen. I wanted that feeling back, with a modern twist. I've been building it full force ever since.
That game is TRUCKADE, an arcade stadium off-road racer built for the couch: four players on one screen, big jumps and floodlit night races. The tracks, the trucks and the design are mine, built on licensed art packs. Every screen works with a gamepad alone, so it's built for a couch and a Steam Deck alike.
By day I design and build software for a large company. Making games at night is a welcome change of pace.
The plan is simple: make loud, fun games that are just as good alone as with a room full of friends, ship them, keep updating them, and build a small studio that lasts.
